Specialist Cleansing

The new CGM Cleansing division is a stand alone business which will deliver specialist domestic and commercial services to the latest industry standards using cutting edge technology. With skilled staff in a wide range of landscaping services including treeworks and grounds maintenance, the CGM team already hold working at height certificates and are CRB checked to enable them to work in clinical settings or with vulnerable clients such as elderly people in sheltered housing.

Pure water window cleaning
Using the environmentally-friendly process of reverse osmosis to draw dirt, chemicals and minerals away from the surface, which leaves a perfect finish when dry. Avoiding the use of chemicals and detergents means that pure water cleaning is not only better for the environment but also leaves a surface which is sterile and will stay cleaner for longer. CGM utilises water fed reach pole system, allowing reach up to 4th floor windows. This innovative system eliminates the need for scaffolding or lifting equipment, both reducing the Health and Safety implications and also the cost.

Commercial office cleaning
With all staff holding valid CRB checks, you can have complete confidence in CGM’s commercial cleaning services for all types of businesses, maintaining a healthy and clean environment for both staff and customers. Staff are approved to work in environments with vulnerable young people and adults such as schools or sheltered housing. Regular daily cleaning services can encompass all areas from general office spaces to sanitary areas, food preparation areas or warehouses.

Builders clean down
With CSCS cards, CGM staff can work alongside builders to complete the cleaning process to prepare a new site for occupation. CGM teams also work with domestic customers once the builders have left, offering a tailored service to meet budget expectations and timelines.

End of tenancy clean down
Although a lease may specify it is the tenants’ duty to clean the house or flat before they vacate, in rare cases they may fail to get the home up to the necessary standard. CGM offers a comprehensive end of tenancy cleaning service to suit all requirements and budgets.

Commercial deep cleaning
Daily cleaning must be supplemented by regular deep cleaning to remove deep-rooted contaminants or treat hard to reach areas such as ceilings. Deep cleaning is a statutory requirement for the health and safety obligations of many types of businesses such as catering, and a certificate of cleanliness can be provided as evidence in such cases. A tailored programme of deep cleaning can be planned at regular intervals to enable effective budgeting.

Specialist services – odour (use of ULLF) and ATP services
CGM offers specialist cleansing services for environmental improvement. Ultra low level fogging (ULLF) can be carried out to eliminate stubborn odours and comes with a comprehensive guarantee. ATP can be used to measure the level of microbial contaminant on a surface and identify areas in need of deep cleansing which in turn may reduce levels of staff absence through illness and increase productivity.

CGM's Green Cleaning Tips

Tip #1
Remove the build-up of limescale around the base of your taps by simply wrapping a paper towel around them and giving them a thorough soaking with hot vinegar. Leave for at least an hour and then give them a rigorous buffing to restore their shine.

Tip #2
Remove those stubborn rings around your bath by using nothing more than half a lemon sprinkled with baking soda. As well as being cheaper than bathroom cleaners, it won’t scratch the surface.

Tip #3
Banish any nasty niffs in kitchen bins by simply pouring a generous portion of talcum powder or baking powder into the bottom.

Palm Paper

Palm Paper is the largest paper mill in the UK with the capacity to produce 400,000 tonnes of paper per year.
Clean lobby windows in preparation for a VIP visit.

CGM Cleansing was called in to provide an intensive interior and exterior clean of the lobby windows in preparation for a special visit from HM The Queen.

The windows presented a unique problem because the top level of the exterior windows towered 44 feet above the ground. Using our long reach pure water cleaning system, we were able to reach this height with ease and without the need for ladders. Both interior and exterior windows were cleaned using our van-mounted pure water system which utilises a series of five filters to create laboratory-grade water that leaves the windows sterile. The client was very happy with the results and intends to use CGM Cleansing again in the future.
