Mr. and Mrs Hudson have been clients and friends of our business for many years, and they
have helped us set a high standard of work and customer service across our portfolio of domestic
clients.
Initially we were only contracted to cut lawns for their beautiful Edwardian family home and their
adjacent period cottage. We have subsequently designed and implemented a programmed garden maintenance plan for both their properties and business premises.
Our programme of works include specialist lawn care services, hedge cutting, bed maintenance, pesticide applications and species specific shrub pruning. We have also designed and implemented a herbicide application programme that has helped maintain both their hard standing areas and garage forecourt to an extremely high standard.
We pay particular attention to Mrs. Hudson’s collection of hydrangeas, climbing roses and shrub roses which are planted in various beds that are situated throughout all three properties.
Our trained operative visits weekly (50 occasions per year) and will happily carry out any additional works as instructed by our clients as well as carrying out the programmed routine maintenance. Twice a year we will suggest annual planting schemes to brighten the mixed beds and then deliver the plants directly from our garden centre (Downham Country Garden Store).
All three sites are inspected by Mr and Mrs Hudson’s appointed client service manager to give them consistency of service and to allow us to work a long term plan to ensure their gardens reflect not just our passion for gardening but also that of our clients.
Despite the seasonal variation in works we happily even out the costs for Mr and Mrs Hudson by mutually agreeing a standard / average monthly charge for them.

Domestic Garden Services
Whilst a large part of our work deals with landscapes on a scale that most keen gardeners would quake at the thought of, we do offer services to domestic homeowners irrespective of the size of plot or garden that they might have.
Many of our trained landscaping team started their careers at the grass roots of the horticultural industry working in private and domestic gardens. Historically our relationships with our domestic clients have shaped our business through client referrals, and set the high standards of customer service and quality in our work.
We are delighted to talk to all home owners, second home owners and residential landlords about how they can reduce the stress and hard work involved in maintaining a garden to its best potential.
As keen gardeners, we love to share and exchange horticultural knowledge and are happy to offer free initial consultations and quotations free of charge.
Whether you require a one-off gardening service or a more proactive and ongoing garden maintenance service, we are happy to offer clients flexible suggestions and customised landscaping service packages.
Our friendly gardeners are qualified to RHS, NVQ or NPTC levels and work hard to maintain work standards to the highest level. Each gardener is CRB checked, has the required CSCS health and safety certification and will carry out works according to the dictates of good horticultural practise, the requirements of the site and plant species within the site.
