Highways & Environment

CGM delivers a full highways management service, utilising our fleet of agricultural tractors fitted with side arm flails. Works can involve cutting operations to hedges requiring significant reduction in both height and width, or a light trim to pedestrianised areas using hand hedge trimming operations.

The team will trim highway verges which are causing visibility obstructions by strimming around signage on roadsides and junctions. We have a fully qualified team who hold the NPTC qualifications and signage, lighting and guarding certification. The team will deliver a quality service that will include the provision of all roadside signage to include a traffic management highway vehicle on major trunk roads or at the request of the client.

Our clients consist of local authorities, highways agencies and public sector clients. We work closely with every client to identify their needs, always working in accordance with the Countryside and Wildlife Act.

We offer a fully mounted road sweeper which is fitted with gully, belly and power brushes with full high pressure water jet system - ideal for sweeping areas on any tarmac/hard surfacing, including areas around factories, industrial estates, and on construction sites. Fully qualified operatives are available during the normal working day or on full emergency call out.
