Freebridge housing was created in its current form in 2006 and is made up of the social housing
stock inherited from The Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk. The council first
instructed us to maintain the gardens of its properties back in 1989 and is one of longest running
grounds maintenance contracts.
We currently look after the grounds maintenance for a large variety of the housing stock ranging from sheltered housing schemes for the elderly to providing gardening support for up to 340 properties situated in communities across West Norfolk.
We regularly carry out soft and hard landscaping, arboriculture services as well as the routine landscape maintenance service.
In 2010 we helped judge both the ‘Freebridge In Bloom’ competition as well as providing Christmas trees for each of the 17 Sheltered housing Schemes that we work with across the area.

Housing Associations
With existing maintenance contracts held with a number of leading providers in social housing dating back to 1989 we feel that we have the experience, knowledge and expertise to offer a first class service that is sympathetic to both the needs of the residents and the sites themselves.
We currently manage sites across East Anglia and understand that because of the varying uses of the sites and the different circumstances of residents that we need to be build long term relationships with scheme, site and housing managers as well as the clients or residents themselves.
Our maintenance contracts can deliver high quality, attractive landscaping solutions at a cost that not only represents good value but is, more importantly, affordable.
The housing stock that we are involved in varies from managed sheltered housing schemes for the elderly, secured warden controlled HMO’s for vulnerable Adults; to larger developments of up to 350 properties on residential estates.
Our housing association clients include The Guinness Trust, Mitie, Minster Housing, Wherry Housing, Housing 21, The Genesis Group, Freebridge Housing and we recently carried out hard and soft landscaping projects for Broadland Housing.
We work to pre agreed maintenance specifications, provide regular inspection reports and are happy to liaise with residents on a quarterly basis to review our working practices.
In conjunction with our Retail nursery business we also offer housing association residents free delivery for garden plants and sundries as well as discounted prices.
