We were commissioned to carry out repair works to four sets of goal posts on the playing fields at the school during the Autumn half term break when the pupils were away.
Our metal fabrication team quickly assembled new goal logics, which were installed by our landscape team on site. The old metal hooks used to hold up the goal nets were cut off and replaced with new plastic hooks, screwed into pre-threaded holes. When the revamped posts were installed into the new logics they were sanded down and given a lick of white paint to make them good as new. All this work was carried out on site in five days at short notice.

Ironworks
Whether you are looking to improve security, define a boundary or to complement a landscape design or the architecture of a building we can design, fabricate and erect bespoke ‘one-off’ pieces of ironwork to meet your needs. Our fabricators work from our head office site in West Norfolk and can work on site to install or repair as directed by you, the client.
To complement the grounds maintenance we carry out at schools and recreation grounds we regularly are asked to supply and install goal logics for football pitches, and this work often includes the repainting of goal posts, removing metal pegs and replacing with plastic pegs in accordance with today’s guidelines. Works of this nature can be carried out on site or back in our workshop. Goal posts can be transported to and from our workshop by our own vehicles. We can work to tight deadlines in order to ensure that works are carried out during school holidays to minimise disruption.
