Site Clearance & Land Drainage

Site Clearance & Drainage

Site clearance involves the removal of vegetation from a range of different locations from industrial sites to allotments. It can involve the clearance of fly tipping materials and litter to prepare a redundant site for alternative use for example.

Overgrown grounds and gardens can detract from the value of a property so site clearance may be an essential task before a home or business can be successfully marketed for sale. Similarly you may have just moved to a property and require somebody to do the hard work for you and clear and prepare the area ready to plant.

With our wide range of pedestrian, ride on and tractor mounted equipment we can carry out the job effectively and efficiently with minimal disturbance, leaving you with an area that is clear and tidy ready for the next step.

We offer the following services:

  • Clearance of brush, bushes and ground foliage
  • Demolition of redundant hard landscaping
  • Felling unwanted trees
  • Tree stump removal
  • Removal of debris off site and recycling where possible

Land Drainage

If your land is not naturally free draining, at CGM we are capable of overseeing and successfully carrying out the creation and maintenance of a wide range of land drainage systems and projects. To prevent your areas of garden, open space and managed land from becoming waterlogged, we can advise you on the most appropriate drainage system, and in some cases create and maintain them.

We can dig out and construct ponds as part of a creative land drainage programme which might also extend to the establishment of a wild flower meadow or other natural habitat. We also provide routine maintenance such as ditch clearing on a regular basis or in an emergency to relieve areas of heavy flooding.

We offer to create and maintain:

  • French drains
  • Soakaways
  • Trenches
  • Project manage land drains requiring sub contractors
  • Ditch clearing
