Sports Ground Maintenance

Maintaining and managing sports pitches, greens and fine turf areas is time consuming and requires great skill. At CGM we have the knowledge, experience and training to construct and care for your facilities - and we have a full range of state of the art equipment to help us do so. From pre-season preparation through to post-season renovation, we can offer you our specialist services all year round. We also install and maintain play equipment and goal posts as well as marking out your sports areas on recreation fields, or in the grounds of schools and public parks.

• Top dressing
• Stone burying
• Aerating
• Compaction relief - including slitting, deep scarifying, hollow tining and verti draining
• Grass cutting - with a complete range of professional machines, from pedestrian fine turf mowers, to multi-gang hydraulic out field mowers, flail mowers and rotary mowers
• Over seeding - from winter sports pitches, cricket outfields and other large areas with our direct disc drill seeder to fine turf over seeder for bowling greens, cricket squares and all fine turf areas
• Weed control and fertilising - using tractor mounted equipment if necessary
• Setting out, squaring and marking out of sports pitches
• Play equipment installation and maintenance
• Goal post manufacture and erection
