Hard Landscaper
CGM is actively seeking an experienced hard landscaper.
Working under the Landscape Manager from our Head Office near Downham Market, the successful candidate must be able to carry out all types of paving (slab and block), fencing, some carpentry, decking, brickwork, turfing and planting.
We are looking for a positive and motivated individual with excellent personal skills to work with our clients as well as other team members and capable of leading a team on site to see works through to completion. The successful candidate will be presentable and organised with a very high attention to detail and a full clean driving license (Pre-1997 Driving Licence or B+E qualification in order to tow a trailer).
Desirable qualifications include PA1, PA6A , horticultural qualifications and experience in working from landscape plans.
Hours of work will be 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday working.
Salary – Dependant on qualifications and experience

Trainee and Apprentice
Gardeners and Landscapers Wanted
We currently have a number of operatives working with us developing their horticultural experience and we are keen to expand this over the coming season.
Candidates would work towards qualifications in horticulture to NVQ level 2 in conjunction with The College of West Anglia who would themselves assist in gaining accreditations including NPTC PA1 and PA6 herbicide application certificates and a basic NPTC chainsaw qualification.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday (including some Saturday working).
We offer a good working environment and a competitive rate of pay, dependant upon qualifications and experience
Road Sweeper Driver Required
Applicants must hold a 7.5 tonne driving licence and possess previous experience of driving a large road sweeper. Duties include sweeping roads along a set route and designated site.
Applicants with a mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
This role is as and when required with no set start and finish times at present.
Experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives
Applicants will require a full clean current driving licence with category (B+E), possess the ability to operate a tractor with side arm flail, and operate mowers up to and including triples.
Qualifications: NPTC PA1 and PA6 herbicide qualifications and a basic NPTC chainsaw qualification. Must have extensive experience.
Candidates will also require qualifications in horticulture (NVQ or City and Guilds or equivalent).
It will be an advantage to hold a category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday (including some Saturday working).

Arboriculture Team Leader & Climber
Due to an increased demand for our highly trained, professional arborists we are looking to establish a new team at our Cambridgeshire depot to complement the Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping teams already working in this area.
Based at our Bourne depot near Cambridge we are looking to recruit a team leader and climber to join our expanding arboricultural services division using modern equipment and machinery to carry out a full tree surgery service.
Under the direction of the Arboricultural Manager you will carry out a full range of arboricultural operations for our existing Commercial and Domestic clients and work to gain new contracting opportunities as we look to develop our industry influence in East Anglia.
You will need to be able to deliver high quality work to BS:3998(2010) and work to the highest health and safety requirements, complete daily site specific risk assessments and ensure work operations are completed safely and efficiently.
You will need to be confident in your ability to carry out a wide range of tree surgery services and be comfortable dealing with our clients, other members of staff and the public.
Our main aim for this year is to gain Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor status so if you want to join an expanding company with the highest standards look no further.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications would be desirable:
CS units – 31,32,33,38,39,40,41
PA1, PA6
IPAF/MEWP operator licence
First aid certificate
Chapter 8 NRSWA
Wood chipper/stump grinder training
Salary: Upwards of £7.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
Cleaning Supervisor
40 Hours per week
Industry experience and previous supervisory experience is essential as the successful applicant will be responsible for teams of cleaners over several locations. The position would suit a determined and customer focused individual who has a keen eye for detail. You should hold a full UK driving licence as our sites are located all over East Anglia. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a CRB check.
